A memorial service for 63-year old James Duncan will be Sat, Jan 16, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron, NE, with Pastor Ann Sundberg officiating.
Committal service will follow immediately at Calvary Cemetery in Chadron.
Out of an abundance of caution for COVID-19, masks and social distancing will be required for those attending.

James (Jim) L Duncan was born April 14, 1957 in Chadron to Victor L Duncan, Jr and Mary Jane (Jacobs) Duncan. He died as the result on an ongoing illness at the Rapid City Hospital on January 9, 2021.
Jim graduated from Chadron High School. Following graduation he was meat cutter for much of his adult life at various grocery stores in Rushville and Gordon, NE.
He received his Bachelors Degree from Chadron State College and worked for Cougar Systems in Chadron as a metal fabricator.
Jim was compassionate, kind hearted and generous. He would never tolerate rudeness or cruelty to others and always had his faithful companions Cassie and Lady alongside him.
He developed many friendships and thought very highly of the dialysis nurses at the Chadron Community Hospital. He was very appreciative of the care and concern they gave him over the years.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brother Mike, sisters Patty and Theresa as well as Grandparents and numerous Aunts and Uncles.
Survivors include brothers John (Linda) Duncan of Kalispell, MT, Steve (Julie) Duncan of Chadron, and sister Dori (Mike) Mills of Bradenton. FL.
He is also survived by 4 nephews, 1 niece Patricia Duncan and Special Friend Deb Cahoon.
Honorary pallbearers are Mike Neeley, and nephews Mike Mower, Casey Mills, Brandon Mills and Phillip Duncan.
