Jerelle Daniel Long Soldier, “Hinhan Luta Hoksila” was born on September 9, 1990 in Pine Ridge, SD to Dainna Red Owl and Gerald Long Soldier, Sr. Jerelle made his journey to the Spirit World on June 29, 2020 near Allen, SD.
Jerelle is survived by his children, Milliana, Maliyah, Amariana, and Myka Mills; parents, Gerald Long Soldier, Sr. and Dainna Red Owl; siblings, Nichelle Long Soldier, Jhacie (Marvin Ross) Long Soldier, Gerald (Contessa Vasquez) Long Soldier, Jr., Severt Long Soldier, Zoey Long Soldier, Tayshon Long Soldier, and Taten Long Soldier; grandmother, Mercy Iron Crow; nieces & nephews, Cadyss Long Soldier, Marvin Ross, Jr., Ryver Ross, Sissy Ross, Ambriella Long Soldier, Aviana Long Soldier, and Jureya Long Soldier; uncle, Bryan Red Owl; and aunt, Collette Red Owl.
Jerelle was preceded in death by his son, Akicita Hanska Long Soldier; grandfather, Martin Red Owl; uncle, Shawn “Fonz” Long Soldier; aunt, Crystal Red Owl; cousin, Tashaunie Long Soldier; and nephew, Hoksicila Long Soldier-Vasquez.
