Funeral services for 1-month old Kayelyn Jean Cortier are Wed, June 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Lila Cortier residence in #4 Community, 8 miles North of Pine Ridge, SD, with Pastors Jeremy Mouw and Hermis Poor Thunder officiating and traditional Lakota Services by Wakinyan Forney
Burial will be at the Cortier Family Cemetery, #4 Community, Pine Ridge, SD.
A two-night wake service starts Monday, June 14, 2021 at 1:00 at the #9 Community Church in Manderson, SD. The second night begins Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 1:00 at the Lila Cortier residence in #4 Community

Kayelyn Eagle Bull “Iha Win” ~Smiling Woman~ was born on April 27, 2021 in Rapid City, SD to Katelyn Eagle Bull and Jordan Cortier. She made her journey to the Spirit World on May 31, 2021 at the Omaha Children’s Hospital in Omaha, NE.
Kayelyn is survived by her parents, Katelyn Eagle Bull and Jordan Cortier; brother, Kyson Cortier; uncles, Louis Wilson, Norman Wilson, Jr., Jray Pawnee Leggins, Jaxson Eagle Bull, and Jacobi Eagle Bull; grandparents, Janice Pawnee Leggins, Jeff Eagle Bull, and Amber Cortier; great grandparents, Rose Shoulders, Paul Pawnee Leggins, and Lila Cortier; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Kayelyn was preceded in death by her grandmother, Andrea Shoulders; and great-grandparents, Kaye & John Eagle Bull, and Maynard Cortier.
Pallbearers will be Jray Pawnee Leggins, Chask’e White Plume, Louis Wilson, and Stanley Walking, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
