Graveside services for 55-year old Keanan “Butch” Pickett are Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 2:00 at the St. Phillip’s Episcopal Cemetery near Manderson, SD, with The Rev. Harold Eagle Bull officiating.
Keanan Dana Pickett was born on February 26, 1965 in Lancaster, OH to Clarence Dean Pickett and Bessie Ellen Woman Dress. Keanan made his journey to the Spirit World on October 2, 2020 at his home in Rapid City, SD.
Keanan is survived by his aunts, Julia Herbaugh and Lucy Slycord both of Murdo, SD, and Melva Crazy Bear of Lawrence, KS; uncle, Alvis Crazy Bear of Hot Springs, SD; 3 sisters; and numerous cousins.
Keanan died on the same day as his mother, Bessie Ellen Woman Dress, who passed away at Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Dean Pickett; grandparents, Joseph Woman Dress and Alvina (Ghost) Woman Dress-Crazy Bear; aunts, Eleanor Woman Dress, Myrna Woman Dress, and Belva Crazy Bear; uncle, Larry Crazy Bear; and cousins, Madeline Carol BronchoBill, Gale BronchoBill, and Bill BronchoBill.
Pallbearers will be Erik Crazy Bear, Doug Pol, Ben Smith, Cody McNaught, Wilmer Bad Yellow Hair, and Matt BronchoBill.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
