The win moves Chadron into a 6:00 pm showdown with Sidney on Friday night at Scottsbluff High School. The Lady Cardinals got it rolling early behind six first quarter points from Demi Ferguson on their way to building a 9-2 lead. Mitchell would win the 2nd quarter, but Chadron held a 16-12 halftime lead. The Tigers exploded for 17 points in the 3rd quarter and took a 29-23 lead into the final period, but Chadron returned the favor in the 4th quarter by outsourcing Mitchell 16-7. Daniels was the only Cardinal in double figures. Ferguson finished with 9 and McCartney tallied 7.
