State, regional, and county fairs in various parts of the country – including the Fall River County Fair in Edgemont – have cancelled this year because of COVID-19 – but the Sioux Empire Fair is going ahead more or less as scheduled.
CEO Scott Wick told Minnehaha County Commissioners Tuesday that more hand washing stations have been added, about 80 hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed around the fairgrounds in Sioux Falls, and 1 million doses of hand sanitizer are available.
