This is the last day of the online fundraising auction for the Circle of Light cancer support program at Chadron Community Hospital, which has given out over $660,000 in the past 11 years.
Circle of Light has 2 annual fundraisers – a gala in the fall and the Show the Light in Your Heart live and silent auction in the spring – and both have been cancelled this year by the coronavirus pandemic.
Jodi Danner of the hospital radiology department is one of the Circle of Light Coordinators. She says the fundraisers are vital to fund the program and the online auction is carrying on that tradition.
Danner says the auction through biddingowl.com was possible because the businesses and individuals who support Circle of Light had already donated dozens of items for the spring auction
Danner says Circle of Light couldn’t be more grateful to all those who given donations over the years – adding that there wouldn’t be anything to auction without them.
