A two-night wake service starts Monday, July 13, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Edward Starr Residence in Oglala with Traditional Prayers each night at 8:00
Leo Edward Starr-Iron Horse was born on April 17, 2020 in Pine Ridge, SD to Austin Lee Starr and Kimberly Lakiya Iron Horse. Leo made his journey to the Spirit World on July 6, 2020 in Oglala, SD.
Leo is survived by his parents, Kimberly Lakiya Iron Horse and Austin Lee Starr; siblings, Kellen Iron Horse, Khloe Iron Horse, Alice Starr, and Ariella Starr; grandparents, Sheryl Starr and Justin Mousseaux; aunts & uncles, Osheanna Mousseaux, Blanche Moussseaux, Odessa Starr, Paulina Brewer, Elise Yellow Hair, Sheldon Starr, Wokpe Iron Horse, Wiwita Iron Horse, Felicia Bull Bear, Pakiya Bull Bear, Selena Moves Camp, Rowdy Iron Horse, and Rain Roy Roan Iron Horse; cousins, Markelle Mousseaux-Left Hand and Everett Brewer; great grandparents, Edward & Katherine Starr, Kate Kindle, and Sam Moves Camp; and grandparents, Pamela Starr, James Starr, Patrick Starr, Trudine Moves Camp, Jarrod Iron Horse, Hannah Moves Camp, T Moves Camp, Becky Lone Elk, TaSagye Wakan Moves Camp, Two Hoops Moves Camp, Tasina Moves Camp, and Andrea Moves Camp.
Leo was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Eileen Moves Camp; and grandmothers, Tamara Starr and Kristan Starr.
Pallbearers will be Edward Starr, Sam Moves Camp, Austin Starr, Rowdy Iron Horse, Sheldon Starr, and Kellen Iron Horse.
