Lightning Blamed For 16 Square Mile Wildfire In NE Wyo

BUFFALO, Wyo. (AP) – Lightning is blamed for the biggest wildfire so far this year in Wyoming. The fire is burning through grassland and sagebrush in the northeastern part of the state in rural Johnson County.

The blaze was first discovered on Sunday morning and had scorched about 16 square miles as of Monday morning. No injuries have been reported and it is unclear whether any buildings have been damaged.
