Funeral services for 64-year old Lynn Marie Mousseaux are Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:00 at Joyner Hall in Pine Ridge, SD, with Father Brad Held, S.J. and Mr Charles McGaa officiating and traditional Lakota services by Ms Darla Black
Burial is at the Holy Rosary Catholic Mission Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service starts Wednesday, September 29, at 1:00 at the Joyner Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
Lynn Marie Mousseaux was born on March 2, 1957 in Pine Ridge, SD to Marcel Salway and Lydia (Janis) Ecoffey. Lynn made her journey to the Spirit World on September 20, 2021 at the North Banner Hospital in Greeley, CO.
Lynn is survived by her husband, Fred Mousseaux of Pine Ridge, SD; children, Dustin Mousseaux of Rapid City, SD, Shawn Mousseaux of Pine Ridge, SD; Nicole Swallow of Rapid City, SD, and Arlen Swallow of Pine Ridge, SD; grandchildren, Sunrise Mousseaux, Alycia Swallow, Marcel Swallow, Samaea Audiss, Tyrie Returns From Scout, and Brennan Returns From Scout; brothers, Raymond (Sylvia) Ecoffey of Hot Springs, SD and Reggie Siers of Bozeman, MT; sisters, Sharon Bales of Mountain Home, AK and Adele Adkins of Brandon, VT; uncles, Bud Waters, Frank Siers, Theodore Siers, and Oliver Garnier; aunt, Eleanor Parker; and special nephew, George Ecoffey.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Lydia Rose (Janis) Ecoffey and Marcel “Suitcase” Salway; brothers, Paul “Barnes” Ecoffey, Edward Ecoffey, Ted Ecoffey, Hobert Ecoffey, Robert Janis, Roland Eagle, Stanford “Bucky” Salway, Medford Salway, and Stacey “Lucky” Salway; and sisters, Leonora Dowty, Jodene Salway, Michelle Salway, and Lyndell Siers.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Dowty, Barton Ecoffey, Sr., Art Ecoffey, Sr., Derek Returns, Cleveland Roubideaux, Robbie Ecoffey, Clarence Dowty, Stuart Mousseaux, Jr., Vernon Janis, Tyeson Whalen, Dale Yellow Horse-Morrison, and Eddie Rol Eagle.
