CHADRON – Two of the largest retailers in Chadron will require customers to wear masks starting this week.
Mandatory mask rules begin Monday at Walmart and Tuesday at Safeway. Both chains are requiring masks or face coverings at all their locations.
Both are apologizing to customers about the inconveniences caused by their mask rule, but are also saying that masks and social distancing are still the best ways to slow the spread of the coronavirus, which been spiking in several part of the country.
