Burial follows at 2:30 PM at the Pine Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Rapid City.

Matthew Edward Quick Bear was born on December 4, 1967 in Santa Clara, CA to Mike Capfield and Fern McKay. Matthew made his journey to the Spirit World on April 21, 2021 in Sioux Falls, SD.
Matthew is survived by his children, RaeAnn Respects Nothing, Treasa Quick Bear, Casey Quick Bear, Dallas Quick Bear, Sheila Quick Bear, and Kaleb Walker; sisters, Camille Quick Bear and Katy Corine Quick Bear; grandchildren, Miguel, Glorihanna, Lacey, Anthony, Jr., and Alonzo Gomez, Darien Chase Quick Bear, Cassius Quick Bear, Legen Brave-Quick Bear, Aroyall and Casen Quick Bear, Harmony Quick Bear-Brave, Honor, Harmani, Shadow, Cecelia, and LoyaLa Quick Bear; and mother, Fern Quick Bear.
Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chief Edward Quick Bear and Cornelia (Walking Bull) Quick Bear; mother, Linda Carol (Quick Bear) Green; uncles, Karmen Quick Bear and Duane Quick Bear; aunts, Peggy Sierras and Iris (Quick Bear) Hesch; sister, Pam Jones; brothers, Dustin and George Janis, and Bernie Jones; and nephews, Robert & Enilio Jones, and Reno White Dress.
