Funeral services for 41-year old Michelle Bear Nose are Monday, October 24, 2021 at 11:00 at Sharp’s Corner Baptist Church in Sharp’s Corner, SD, with Pastor Matt Hadden officiating.
Burial is at St Alban’s Episcopal Cemetery in Porcupine, SD
A one-night wake service starts Sunday, October 23, at 4:00, also at Sharp’s Corner Baptist Church.
Michelle Lynn (Black Bull) Bear Nose was born on January 26, 1980 in Pine Ridge, SD to Elaine (High Hawk) Black Bull and Merton Black Bull. Michelle made her journey to the Spirit World on October 17, 2021 at the Avera-McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Stan Bear Nose; siblings, Eldon (Margaret Iron Cloud) Black Bull, Lamar (Dawn Mesteth) Black Bull, Fabian (Melanie Two Eagle) Black Bull, and Bevin & Merton Black Bull; aunts, Norine High Hawk-Lone Elk and Velma Kills Back, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine (High Hawk) Black Bull; father, Merton Black Bull; grandparents, Emily Black Bull-Kills Small, Stella High Cat-High Hawk, and John High Hawk; and siblings, Arnold Black Bull and Mertina Black Bull.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Iron Boy, Wes Big Crow, Trevor Weston, Weldon Spotted Eagle, Denzel Black Bull, Deion Black Bull, and Delane Kills Back.
Honorary Pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
