Monica Lynn Hennessey was born on April 2, 1984 in Voorhees, NJ to Andrew Ward and Kateri Hennessey. Monica spread her wings made her journey to the Spirit World on December 17, 2020 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Monica loved living life and was very outspoken and determined to live life to the fullest. She was very loyal, loving, and caring – giving her all to the ones she loved, and she was loved by many.
Monica was a determined, strong-minded, and beautiful person inside and out who will be very missed and loved by many families in New Jersey and South Dakota.
Monica Lynn Hennessey left behind her only child, Julian Josef Hennessey who loved and adored his mother with all his heart; father, Andrew Ward; mother, Kateri Hennessey; step-mother, Mary Ward; brother, Michael Hennessey; sisters, Rachel Ward; uncle, Chris Hennessey; aunt, Mariterase Hennessey; great aunt, Rae Whelan; the Montgomery and Wright Family of Rapid City, SD; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Monica was preceded in death by her grandparents, Margaret and William Hennessey and Betty Ward; aunt, Stacy Ward; and sister, Erica Dobbins.
