The South Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name the man killed last Wednesday when his motorcycle crashed 5 miles west of Sturgis. 60-year old Paul Strain’s identity had been withheld while his family was notified.
The Highway Patrol says Strain was eastbound on Hwy 14A when his bike went off the roadway and hit the guardrail on the south side of the road.
Strain was not wearing a helmet and was thrown from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
