Naveigha Marie Red Cloud “To Cannupa Luta Win” (Her Red Pipe Woman) was born on May 11, 2004 in Pine Ridge, SD to James Red Cloud and Latoya Watson. She made her journey to the Spirit World on April 27, 2022 in Kyle, SD.
Naveigha is survived by her father, James E. Red Cloud of Pine Ridge, SD; mother, LaToya Watson of Kyle, SD; sisters, Janaya Red Cloud, Azaylia Red Cloud (Vanilla Mesteth); brothers, Bentley Red Cloud and Riley Red Cloud; grandparents, Reno L. Red Cloud, Jr. and LaFawn M. (Bill Ringing Shield) Conroy; great grandparents, Reno L. Red Cloud Sr., Myrna C. Janis, Thomas K. Conroy, Jr., Ann Shangreaux, and Susan Thunder Bull; uncles, Reno A. Red Cloud, Jeremy Ringing Shield, Thomas S. Conroy, Chuck (Patty) Conroy, and Michael Shane Conroy; aunts, Jasmine Ringing Shield, Alma Valandra, and Jo Ann Conroy; and great aunts, Marilyn Red Cloud, Jennifer Martin, and Sherry Martin.
Naveigha was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Edgar Red Cloud, Lottie Bissonette, Thomas Conroy, Sr., and Jeanette Ross; grandparents, Reno L. Red Cloud, Sr., and Myrna C. Janis; great aunts, Charlotte R. Red Cloud, Pam K. Red Cloud, Mary Ellen Red Cloud, and Susan C. Martin; great uncles, Benjamin J. Red Cloud, Sr. and Ronald D. Martin.
