Nebraska COVID-19 Count Now 577 Cases, 15 Deaths

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Dept of Health and Human Services says the death total in the state from COVID-19 is now 15.

The latest fatality, announced yesterday, was a Douglas County woman in her 60s with underlying health conditions. It’s the 6th coronavirus death in the county.

The state had 577 confirmed cases as of 6:00 Thursday night, including the first 2 cases from 2 more counties – a woman in her 70s with travel history in Burt County and a woman in her 40s in Polk County who is self-isolating at home. How she became infected remains under investigation.
