The state has now recorded 47,807 cases with 34,613 recoveries and 501 deaths. The availability of hospital beds and ICU beds both improved, all beds to 35% and ICU beds to 33% while ventilators stayed at 78% available.

Panhandle Unified Command doesn’t update its figures over the weekend, so the latest totals for the Panhandle remain 933 cases, 822 recoveries, 9 deaths, 102 active cases, and 3 hospitalizations.

Dawes County has 137 cases, 130 recoveries, and 7 active cases including 4 at Chadron State College – 2 students and 2 staff.

The CSC music department has several students and one faculty member, which has led to the precautionary cancelling of Tuesday’s Community Band rehearsal.
