The number of COVID-19 cases in Nebraska has passed 45,000. Nebraska Health and Human Services recorded 478 new cases on Tuesday for a total of 45,044,
There were also 6 deaths and 111 recoveries for 11,368 active cases, including 215 who are hospitalized.
The state has now had 478 deaths 33,198 recoveries from COVID-19,
The number of available ICU beds in Nebraska hospitals dropped to 27% yesterday with 34% of all hospital beds and 78% of ventilators also still available.
