New COVID Cases Continue To Fall In Nebraska

The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations and new cases in Nebraska continues falling across the state after spiking last month.

Nebraska Health and Human Services says 387 people were hospitalized with the virus Sunday, up slightly over the previous couple days but a little more than half of the peak of 767 hospitalizations on January 28th.

. The number of COVID cases the state reported to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also fell again last week.

The state reported 1,940 cases, down from 4,868 cases the previous week and only about 5% of the record 29,141 cases reported the week that began January 16.
