19 Republican State Attorneys-General File 4 Suits Challenging Federal Vaccine Mandate

Nineteen states, all with Republican attorneys-general, are now suing to block President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for federal contractors.

Nebraska, Wyoming, and South Dakota are part of the largest lawsuit, 10 states led by Missouri and filed Friday.

Another suit filed Friday is led by Georgia and includes 6 other states while Texas sued individually on Friday and Florida filed a separate lawsuit Thursday.

The lawsuits all argue that the Biden administration overstepped its authority in requiring federal contractors to make their employees get the coronavirus vaccine.

Biden has argued that sweeping vaccine mandates will help end the deadly pandemic.
