The annual Chadron Kiwanis Club Stars of Tomorrow youth talent contest on Sunday, March 13, had 9 entries, all in the middle two of four age groups.
There were no entries in Division 1, K-3rd grade, or Division 4, 10th-12th grades. Instead, there were 3 acts in Division 2, grades 4-6, and 9 in Division 3, grades 7-9.
With trophies going to the top 3 finishers in each division, all of the competitors in Division 2 took home hardware.
Top honors went to the dance team of Madi Dolezal and Sarah Carrick with a dance trio – Kaitlyn Ferebee, Norah Shield, and Isabella Curran – 2nd. 3rd place went to vocalist Judah Vance.
Claiming the crown in Division 3 was singer Elaina Strong with solo dancer Allison Taylor 2nd. Lillian Jondreau claimed 3rd with her dramatic reading of a short story she wrote.
