A 26-year old Rapid City man is in custody in connection with an altercation over a debt that turned into a fatal shooting at 8:30 Friday night in Rapid City.
      Formal charges are pending against 26-year old Julion Graham, who is being held for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
Police say witness statements and surveillance video show the victim was beating Graham with a blunt instrument when he was shot by Graham. The man received medical aid after EMTs arrived, but died at the scene.
