Bands On Bordeaux – Joey Leone’s Chop Shop

Loading

Tonight is the third of this year’s Bands on Bordeaux free concerts, 6-9:00 at 1st and Main.

It features one of the more eclectic performers to come to Chadron – Joey Leone’s Chop Shop.

Leone is a master guitar player who’s shared stages with rock and blues legends, while the Chop Shop is one of the most prolific blues groups in New England – playing funk, classic rock, and jazz in addition to the blues.

Leone is also a music historian who uses his concerts to provide a commentary on the history of blues music in America.

Bands on Bordeaux moved this year to Railroad Park at 1st and Main, which requires a bit more setting up than the previous location on Bordeaux.

Chadron Chamber of Commerce Director Gabby Michna says had a great group of volunteers helping with set-up this year, but she love having even more.

Those interested in helping set up for tonight’s Bands on Bordeaux can call the Chamber office for more information about volunteering.

As always, Bands on Bordeaux includes a beer garden covering the entire concert area along with kids games and food vendors. Seating is very limited, so everyone is encouraged to bring a lawn chair.

Again, Bands on Bordeaux with Joey Leone’s Chop Shop, 6-9:00 tonight at Railroad Park, 1st and Main in Chadron.
