Brad Morgan Band To Wrap Up Next-To-Last Day Of The Sheridan County Fair

This is the next-to-last day of the Sheridan County Fair and Rodeo in Gordon with lots of livestock events.

The Clover Bud Parade is at 9:00, followed at 10:00 by the Small Animal Round-Robin Showmanship competition and at 1:00 by the Large Animal Round-Robin.

The most livestock, though, will be the horses, steers, calves, and bulls at the PRCA Rodeo. There’s a slack session at 9:00 with the evening go-round at 7:00.

The Sheridan County Fair Rodeo was a PRCA event for a number of years, then switched to regional sanctioning groups.

Fair Board Secretary Courtney Ostrander says when the decision was made to return to the PRCA, the biggest question was how many days of competition to offer. To some, three days seemed like a stretch for this area, but Ostrander says it’s working.

The final rodeo session is tomorrow night at 7:00 and the Brad Morgan Band is back again this year for the Rodeo Concert both tonight and tomorrow night after the end of the rodeo action.

Today is also the second of 3 days of the Inflatables carnival on the football field with units as big as 80×20 and a 140-foot obstacle course. The Inflatables are open from 1-10:00 both today and tomorrow.
