HOT SPRINGS – The Fall River County Commissioners have decided that the Fall River/Oglala Lakota County Courthouse in Hot Springs will continue business as usual, mostly.
The Fall River County Jail has suspended inmate visitation, the only service currently suspended service, while the courthouse has put additional cleaning and disinfecting procedures in place to protect
employees, inmates, and the public.
Although the hours of operation remain the same, they are asking the public’s help in easing the current situation by accessing courthouse services online or bu phone, email or regular mail as much as possible and not to physically visit the courthouse if it can be avoided.
Anyone who feels a visit is necessary is call first because it may be possible to have some items completed over the phone and have others ready when you arrive – minimizing the amount of time you need to spend in the courthouse and reducing the potential exposure to the virus.
