Chadron, Crawford Students Recognized At National History Day Competition

National History Day recently wrapped up its 2021 virtual contest with a pair of Chadron and Crawford student groups earning recognition.

The Crawford duo of Colton Mader and Rhett Flack earned the Native American History prize with their documentary on Wounded Knee.

Tyler Kaus of Chadron was honored in the History of Physical Sciences and Technology with his documentary entry titled, Grace Hopper: Computer Communicator.

Both earned their way to the National History Day competition after finishing at the top of their categories in the state competition.
