The Cities of Chadron and Crawford have declared snow emergencies. Chadron’s begins tonight at 11:00 while Crawford’s starts at midnight or when 3” of snow has accumulated.
Both snow emergencies will remain in effect until all the snow on the designated snow emergency routes has been removed, but with Chadron also listing an alternate of 5:00 tomorrow afternoon.
In both Chadron and Crawford, once a snow emergency has been declared, all vehicles, trailers and obstructions must be removed from along the emergency routes. Those that remain may be ticketed or towed at the owners’ expense.

The City of Chadron has declared a snow emergency from 11:00 tonight until 5:00 tomorrow afternoon or until all the snow in the streets of the city’s designated snow emergency routes has been removed.
When a snow emergency has been declared, all vehicles, trailers and obstructions must be removed from along the emergency routes.
Those that remain may be ticketed or towed at the owners’ expense.
