Chadron High Student Places 10th At FBLA National Conference

       Chadron High School FBLA – Future Business Leaders of America – member Lateisha Ngoi finished in the top 10 in the nation in Electronic Career Portfolio at the recent 2021 FBLA National Leadership Conference

     Since the conference included more than 12,000 participants from around the world, it was held virtually this year because of COVID-19 threat.

     In her Electronic Career Portfolio presentation, Ngoi digitally created and presented a portfolio of all her career goals, professional experiences, education and a resume. 

       She gave her presentation in the semi-finals, then advanced to finals where she finished 10th out of over 100 competitors. 

      The Chadron FBLA chapter also earned recognition and honors with a Gold Seal Chapter Award of Merit, recognizing chapters for outstanding participation in projects and programs identified with the goals of FBLA.

      The non-profit Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda Inc., is the premier student business organization in the world with a quarter-million members and advisers in over 6,500 active middle school, high school, and college chapters.

      Its mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.

       The National Leadership Conference offered events to enhance their business skills, expand their networks, and participate in more than 70 business and business-related competitive events.
