Chadron Library Instituting Curbside Service

CHADRON – The Chadron Public Library is easing its coronavirus rules a bit on Monday.

It will still be closed to the public, but will offer curbside delivery. Previously loaned items can also be returned, but still have a due-date of June 6.

Hours tomorrow are 1-2:00 with regular hours of 10-11:00 and 1:00-2:00 starting on Tuesday. Curbside service is limited to 3 items due to the extra time and effort required in quarantining and cleaning returned items.

Patrons need to call the Chadron Library to borrow items and make curbside pick-ups. They will be given detailed instructions, which are also available online at The library;s phone is manned 8-5 Monday-Friday.

The Chadron Public Library also has online offerings including magazines, e-books and audiobooks for all ages, and more. The library is also using its Facebook page for a variety of things including posting episodes of Story Time
