Cheyenne Paper Dropping Print Edition to 5 Days A Week

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) – Citing financial pressures challenging the news industry, the Wyoming Tribune Eagle in Cheyenne says it’s eliminating a second day from its newspaper printing cycle.

Starting June 2, the paper will no longer print and deliver a Tuesday edition, but news coverage will still be accessible online at and, as well as its WyoNews app for Android and Apple devices, and on social media.

Newspaper advertising revenues have been falling for many years, but have crashed during the coronavirus pandemic as many nonessential businesses were forced to close or scale down.

The loss of revenue has forced many publications to cut jobs, reduce hours and pay, drop print editions, or even shut down entirely.
