The new Summit Arena at The Monument in Rapid City, formerly the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, has announced 2 top concerts for the spring – Chicago and country standout Morgan Wallen.

Chicago will play April 22nd with tickets going on sale this Friday, while Wallen’s concert is May 13 and includes special guests HARDY and Larry Fleet.

Chicago was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016 and is the highest charting American band in Billboard Magazine’s Top 125 Artists Of All Time.

They’re also the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six consecutive decades.

Morgan Wallen’s second studio album, the double-album Dangerous, debuted in January at #1 on both the US Billboard 200 and US Top Country Albums, selling 265,000 album-equivalent units its first week.

Described by The New Yorker as “the most wanted man in country,” Wallen was the 2020 CMA New Artist of the Year and iHeartRadio’s Best New Country Artist.

He was also #1 on Billboard’s year-end Country Airplay chart with Chasin’ You.
