The number of available hospital and ICU beds in Nebraska remain under 30%, with total beds at 29% and ICU beds at 23% with ventilators at 79% availability. The South Dakota Dept of Health reported 732 new COVID-19 cases, 378 recoveries, and 9 deaths on Saturday, resulting in 5,533 active cases including 267 who are hospitalized. South Dakota has now had 27,947 cases, 286 deaths, and 22,128 recoveries. Two of Saturday’s deaths were in Pennington County with 1 in Fall River County.
