COVID-19 Testing Today In Chadron And Gordon


Panhandle COVID Unified Command wraps up 3 days of free drive-thru testing today with sessions this morning in Chadron and this afternoon in Gordon.

Saturday was the first day of sign ups for today with 67 registrations for Chadron and 16 for Gordon with 100 spots available in each city

The Chadron testing is from 9-11:30 at the Dawes County Fairgrounds while the Gordon testing is at the Airport from 2-4:30.

The last COVID-19 numbers for the Panhandle released by Unified Command came out Saturday afternoon with 74 cases, including 38 who have recovered.

Sunday’s update from Nebraska Health and Human Services reflected just 850 new tests with 8,315 confirmed cases and 2 new COVID-19 deaths, bringing the state total to 98

Douglas County, which includes Omaha, has 1,551 cases with 1,348 in Dakota County and 1,328 in Hall County.
