COVID Cases Worrying Nebraska Hospitals

Loading

Hospital capacity remains a concern in Nebraska as the number of COVID-19 cases continues to rise.

Officials at  Bryan Health in Lincoln say their two hospitals are operating “at the breaking point” with large numbers of COVID patients putting stress on the system.

Cases are up across the state and hospitalizations are growing. Nebraska Health and Human Services says 415 cases were hospitalized Wed.

That’s more than 2.5 times higher than the 158 in early August and nearly 15 times the 28 of late June.
