The number of COVID hospitalizations in Nebraska continues to drop, sitting at just 34 as of Monday morning’s update from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
The number is the lowest since early April of 2020.
The total number of Nebraskans that have been fully vaccinated also continues to climb, with 46% of all Nebraskans having been fully vaccinated.
Meanwhile, South Dakota has 31 hospitalizations while 56% of the population have had at least their first dose of COVID vaccine.
Wyoming is the only state in the region that has shown an increase in hospitalizations recently, with 47 currently receiving hospital care.
As of Monday morning, 30% of Wyoming residents have received both doses of vaccine.
