KNEB News in Scottsbluff is reporting that a 36-year-old Crawford woman has been sentenced to a combined 8 to 16 years in prison following two arrests in Scotts Bluff County over the past 12 months.

Shana Guest was sentenced to 5 to 10 years after being convicted of Distribution of an Exceptionally Hazardous Drug, and an additional 3-6 years in prison on a conviction of Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Guest was arrested last summer in Scottsbluff after officers found a quarter pound of suspected methamphetamine in a truck belonging to her and husband Jeffrey Guest. She was also arrested again in January after she was found in possession of a firearm during a traffic stop in Gering.

Shana Guest also has pending felony drug and weapons charges out of Dawes County, and could face additional prison time if convicted on those counts.
