CSC Delaying Resumption Of Classes After Break Because Of Expected StormPosted by John AxtellDate: March 13, 2021 1:43 amLeave a comment487 Views Chadron State College was scheduled to resume classes Monday after being off this week for midterm break, but the forecast of a major snowstorm has changed those plans. Instead, there will be no classes on Monday and the campus will be closed. Residence halls will remain open and dining services will resume operations Monday as planned. CSC President Dr Randy Rhine also says that with the likelihood of poor driving conditions today and especially tonight and tomorrow, students are asked not to try to return to campus before Monday. Chadron Community Hospital is also anticipating the storm and has cancelled Monday morning’s TestNebraska COVID-19 testing at the old hospital. When the Monday and Friday testing resumes next Friday, it will be with new hours – just 8-9:00 AM instead of the current 7-9:00. Officials say with the increasing number of individuals getting vaccinated, the demand for testing is dropping.
