Telecommunications company CenturyLink says a cut fiber optic line in Omaha has left its internet customers in the western half of Nebraska without service this afternoon.
The outage includes the Northern Panhandle.
A CenturyLink spokesman says the outage occurred about noon MT and that the company has no estimate on when service will be restored.
