Domestic Violence Incident Lands Chadron Man In Jail Posted by John Axtell Date: April 12, 2020 4 Views CHADRON – A Chadron man is in custody after having eluded police for about 5 hours on Thursday following a report of a domestic disturbance. 25-year-old Patrick Bordeaux is being held on felony counts of strangulation and terroristic threats along with misdemeanor 3rd-degree domestic assault. His bail is $10,000. Office Zachary Klemp says Chadron police responding about 2:00 pm to a report of a domestic assault just off the downtown area were told Bordeaux, the suspect, had fled in a vehicle. Officer Klemp says Chadron police contacted other agencies and continued to look for Bordeaux throughout the day, then learned he was headed back into town about 7:00 PM. He was stopped by the Nebraska State Patrol and detained until Chadron officers could arrive and make the arrest. Klemp says the Chadron Police Department appreciates the assistance it received from the State Patrol and the Sheridan County Sheriffs Office.
