      A well-known former Lincoln sports journalist who also worked for the UNL athletic department has been arrested for four counts of sexual assault of a child from Nemaha County..
Brian Rosenthal was arrested Wednesday in Lancaster County on a warrant and is scheduled to appear in court on August 21st.
Rosenthal worked for the Lincoln Journal-Star from 2000-2016, when he joined Nebraska Athletics as a staff writer and creative contest specialist until last year.
A native of the tiny southeast Nebraska town of Cook, Rosenthal is accused of sexually assaulting a child 12-to-16 years old on 4 occasions between December 2017 and February 2018.
