The self-isolation will last until next Wednesday, the 11tth. Gordon has tested negative for COVID-19 in a rapid test, but is still waiting for results of a secondary test. The governor says the potential exposure occurred during a meeting that included a person who later tested positive. Gordon’s staff says everyone who attended the meeting took precautions including wearing masks for the entire meeting. The number of active cases in Wyoming continues to grow. The state health department on Monday reported 421 new confirmed cases and 250 recoveries, bumping the number of active cases to another new record of 4,410. Wyoming has had 12,059 total cases along with 7,649 recoveries and 87 deaths since the coronavirus first hit the state in March.
