Gov Gordon Tests Negative Again For COVID-19 Posted by John Axtell Date: November 05, 2020 8:39 am Leave a comment 146 Views Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon has tested negative for the coronavirus for a second time after being exposed at a meeting last week in Riverton, but he remains in isolation as a precaution. Among those at the meeting was Dr. Deborah Birx, coordinator of the White House coronavirus task force. A White House spokesperson didn’t immediately return a message Tuesday asking whether Birx had been tested since the Oct. 28 meeting. Gordon spokesman Michael Pearlman says the governor will remain in isolation for the rest of this week out of an “abundance of caution.” The top tribal official of the Northern Arapaho, Lee Spoonhunter, tested positive for COVID-19 after sitting next to Gordon at the meeting. The Wyoming Dept of Health reported 12 more COVID-19 deaths Wednesday to bring the state’s death toll to 105. Another 276 new confirmed cases and only 149 recoveries pushed the number of active cases to a record 4,473. Wyoming has had 12,675 total cases and 8,097 recoveries.
