LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) –  Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts has signed a $100-million dollar package of adjustments to the $9.3 billion dollar 2-year state budget passed last year, and he did it without any line item vetoes, praising lawmakers for their work in crafting it.

The biggest items in the package are $55-million dollars for continued recovery work from last year’s floods and money for career scholarships to the University of Nebraska and Chadron State and the other state colleges.
