Governor Extends Types of Businesses That Must Close

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) – Hair and nail salons, massage parlors and tattoo shops are shutting down in Wyoming in response to Gov. Mark Gordon’s latest order to control the spread of the coronavirus.

The order lasts through April 3, as do previously ordered closures that include dining-in at restaurants as well as bars, gyms, conference rooms, museums, schools, and daycare centers except those serving essential personnel.

Gordon also previously ordered people not to gather in groups of 10 or more in single rooms or confined spaces.

Gordon says in a statement he sympathizes with people affected by the order, especially small-business owners. Testing has confirmed at least 41 cases of coronavirus in Wyoming.
