It does say in a statement issued Monday that it is helping the U-S Fish and Wildlife Service investigate both incidents. The first incident was Thursday in the Thorofare region southeast of Yellowstone National Park. It resulted in a hunter being flown to a hospital with unspecified injuries. The second incident occurred Saturday on Rattlesnake Mountain west of Cody and involved a grizzly charging but not attacking another bow hunter. Grizzlies in the Yellowstone region are protected as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act.
