(AP) – The South Dakota Highway Patrol says it was a Hot Springs man who was killed Tuesday morning when his motorcycle collided with a semi hauling gravel near Custer. 70-year old Bradley Winter was wearing a helmet.The Highway Patrol says Winter was northbound on Hwy 385 about 10 miles south of Custer when 64-year old truck driver Thomas Breen of Custer tried to pass him just as Winter began a left turn into an approach. The Harley Davidson and truck collided and Winter was thrown from the bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene while Breen, who was wearing a seatbelt, was unhurt.
