Kellogg’s-Union Reach New Contract; Ratification Vote On Sunday

    Kellogg’s has reached a tentative 5-year contract agreement with its 1,400 striking cereal plant workers that will deliver 3% raises.

    Members of the Bakery, Confectionary, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union at the four plants, including one in Omaha, will vote Sunday on the new contract. 

       Kellogg’s says the deal maintains current health benefits for employees and includes cost-of-living adjustments in the later years,

       Workers at the 4 plants where all of Kellogg’s well-known brands of cereal such as Frosted Flakes and Rice Krispies are made have been on strike since October 5th.
