The city of Chadron says all of Kenwood is without water with officials having no idea of when it will be restored.
Utilities Superintendent Tom Menke says there are multiple breaks in mains and multiple failed valves affecting virtually the entire area north of the railroad tracks.
Menke says crews are busy trying to identify and repair or replace the breaks and failures, but with some still not identified he can’t even make a guess as to when residents of Kenwood will again have water.
This statement is not completely true I live on North Main and I have water.
This is one of the other reasons why they make waterline loops. So valves not shutting down good possibility but ALL of one side of town with no water. Never happen unless you had a catastrophic event lol
I live in the Kenwood area and I have water also. Should get the story right before posting.
