Konery Klueber Named Next CSC Student Trustee


LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) – Governor Pete Ricketts has named the 3 student members of the Nebraska State College System Board of Trustees who will serve during the 2020-21 academic year.

Konery Klueber of Chadron State, Tyler Harms of Peru State, and Amanda Jaixen of Wayne State will work with current student trustees Sam Klammer, Camarie Stratman, and Ashley VanMeeteren for orientation and transition before their terms begin in June.

Trustee chairman Gary Bieganski of Chadron says the board values the insight and student perspective the student trustees bring to discussions.

Klueber, a senior from Rapid City, is a member of the ROTC and earning a degree in justice studies-legal studies with a minor in military science.

He is the vice president of Student Senate, the ROTC company commander as president of the War Eagles President, a member of Blue Key, a Student Ambassador, and and Eagle Mentor.

In his application, Klueber said he wants to be a passionate voice for students and an effective liaison between them and the trustees.
